SMEnergy
The start of the project was 1/1/2024 and will lasts 30 months. The purpose of the project is to promote the recognition of various local and national knowledge, strategies, solutions, examples of good practices and to introduce suppliers who use unused renewable resources. We will familiarize them with efficiency measures and their simplified local distribution and use at the enterprise level. The aim is to bring together private, public and especially small and medium-sized enterprises to cooperate and benefit from the exchange of experience, capacity and resources, leading to the reduction and increase of greenhouse gas emissions through renewable penetration with maximum efficiency.
The main goal of the project is to increase the share of renewable energy in the Danube region among SMEs with high energy intensity and by building capacity for sustainable energy use. An interconnected transition plan, Energy Centers for Small and Medium Enterprises (GEKOS) and a transnational database can fill the coordination gap and seamlessly connect SMEs and renewable energy market players.
